I am obsessed with peanut butter. I ate it as a kid often, but somewhere later down the road, I stopped liking it for some reason. I’d eat it occasionally in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but that was pretty much it. About 6 months ago, I started eating it again. I think it was because I thought apples with peanut butter would make a quick and healthy snack – which they do. I don’t know why I stopped liking the stuff. It’s delicious. However, about 3 months ago is when I’d say I became obsessed. I suddenly couldn’t stop myself from eating it. There was a week where I don’t think I went 3 hours without digging a spoon into the tub and eating it straight. I couldn’t stop myself. I even asked Keegan if he thought peanut butter would be good on a white cheddar rice cake. He didn’t think it would be, so another plain spoonful it was. That was good enough for me, but I just wanted to put the stuff on everything. So, I decided to put some in a smoothie, too. I’ve tried smoothies with apples and pears, and I have never liked the texture. They end up too grainy and mealy to me. I worked around with some flavor combinations and found myself happy with this one. I hope you like it, too. Take a picture after you make it and tag #nakedsunflower. Keegan and I would love to see it!
